Banana Ball is coming back to Milwaukee, and this time the Party Animals will square off against the Firefighters. Two games are set for American Family Field on Friday, August 13, and Saturday, August 14, 2027, pitting the Party Animals against the Firefighters in the high-energy, fan-interactive brand of baseball that has become a national phenomenon.
The return comes a year after Banana Ball's first visit to the home of the Milwaukee Brewers drew massive crowds. According to TMJ4 News, fans can enter a ticket lottery for a chance to buy seats, with the random drawing open through October 31. The lottery system has become Banana Ball's standard way of distributing tickets given overwhelming demand and persistent scalping on resale markets.
That demand was on full display in June 2026, when the Party Animals' two-game series against the Loco Beach Coconuts drew more than 82,000 spectators to a sold-out weekend at American Family Field, according to FOX6 Milwaukee. Banana Ball's earlier Milwaukee-area stop came at Franklin Field in suburban Franklin, Wisconsin, where the minor-league venue sold out during the 2023 tour, per Milwaukee Magazine. American Family Field has a capacity of 41,900.
A Local Pitcher and a Brewers Legend Take the Mound
Part of what made last year's Milwaukee stop resonate locally was the presence of a hometown arm. Party Animals pitcher Brady Kais, a Greendale, Wisconsin native and Greendale High School alumnus, started on the mound during the team's inaugural Milwaukee games at American Family Field, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
Two-time All-Star Corey Hart, who played nine seasons in Milwaukee, made his Party Animals debut.

The Party Animals' opponent for next summer's Milwaukee dates is one of Banana Ball's newer squads. The Firefighters were introduced in October 2023 as the league's third official team.
Banana Ball's Origins and 2027 Dates
Milwaukee's 2027 dates are part of Banana Ball's 2027 schedule. The Savannah Bananas trace their origins to 2015.
A Banana Ball Championship League was planned for 2026, with two expansion teams. The plan called for a 50-game regular season leading to a Banana Bowl.
The Rules That Make Banana Ball Different
Part of the draw for newcomers is the league's unusual rulebook, built for speed and fan participation. Under official Banana Ball Rule 8, a fan sitting in the grandstands who catches a foul ball cleanly on the fly, without bobbling or juggling it, records an official out against the batter, per BananaBall.com. Bunting, meanwhile, is strictly illegal under Rule 4; any batter who attempts one is instantly ejected from the game.
Games are also capped at two hours, with no new inning permitted to begin once that clock runs out. Tied games are settled through a one-on-one Showdown Tiebreaker between a pitcher and a hitter working with a reduced defense, a format designed to guarantee a fast, decisive finish for stadium crowds.
With the ticket lottery open only through October 31, Milwaukee fans hoping to see the Party Animals and Firefighters next August will need to act before the month is out. Given last year's sellout crowds, demand for a return engagement at American Family Field appears unlikely to cool off.
