Beachwood’s annual Fall Festival is getting a last-minute venue shuffle for its second day. The city has announced that Sunday’s Fall Fest lineup, originally set for Oct. 11, will now be held indoors at the Beachwood Community Center and the neighboring Beachwood Police Department garage, running from noon to 5 p.m.

Sunday’s Indoor Shift, Saturday’s Outdoor Lineup

The move, announced by the City of Beachwood, affects only the Sunday portion of the two-day festival. As reported by Cleveland.com, Saturday’s kickoff concert and fireworks display will remain outdoors as planned, staged outside the Community Center at 25325 Fairmount Blvd.

Sunday’s indoor festivities carry the theme Journey Across America, according to the City of Beachwood. Attendees can expect inflatables, activities, rides, games, live entertainment, food trucks and a Cleveland Browns watch party packed into the Community Center and police garage space.

Saturday Night Still Belongs to The Spazmatics

Saturday’s celebration kicks off at 8 p.m. outside the Community Center with a performance by The Spazmatics, a free concert billed as a high-energy, new wave ’80s tribute show, per the city’s announcement. A fireworks display will follow the band’s set.

The calendar entry for the festival, listed on the city’s own events page, confirms the two-day structure splitting outdoor evening entertainment from daytime indoor activities.

Parking, Shuttles and Accessibility Details

With activities now split between two buildings, the city has laid out a parking and shuttle plan for Sunday. Attendees can park at Beachwood City Hall, the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center, Fairmount Early Childhood Center, Beachwood High School and Beachwood Middle School, with overflow accessible parking available at Beachwood Kehilla.

Transportation shuttles will run between the festival site and those four parking locations — the aquatic center, the early childhood center, and the high school and middle school — as frequently as possible, the city said. Getting between the Community Center and the police garage on foot requires navigating stairs through the interior hallways, so an accessible shuttle will also be provided to ferry attendees between the two buildings.
