The Bexar County Sheriff's Office asked the public to help locate Emma, a child reported missing from a west-side neighborhood.
The public appeal was reported by KENS 5.
What Emma Was Wearing When She Disappeared
At the time she was last seen, Emma was wearing a pink shirt, black pants, a pink bow tie and pink-and-white shoes, per the same KENS 5 report. She was also carrying a pink-and-white Aeropostale backpack, a detail investigators hope could help someone recognize her in public.

Local Requests and State Alerts
For context on how local missing-child requests relate to statewide alerts, the Texas Department of Public Safety says state law allows a local law enforcement agency to request an AMBER Alert even when the criteria have not been verified, if the agency’s chief law enforcement officer believes activation is warranted. Separately, the San Antonio Report said Bexar County’s new missing-persons structure, funded by $370,000 in the county’s latest budget, added a dedicated investigator and a clerk to support investigations.
Anyone with information about the child's whereabouts is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Missing Persons Unit at (210) 335-6000 or by email at [email protected]. The sheriff's office has not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the child's disappearance.
