A fake emergency call sent Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies to Blueface's Canyon Country home on Wednesday, another in a string of swatting incidents involving the rapper. Deputies found Blueface livestreaming, with no children or informant on site.
A False Child-Endangerment Report
As reported by TMZ, a swatting call came in around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, with the caller falsely claiming a 3-year-old child had been thrown to the ground. Deputies arrived to find Blueface livestreaming, with no children or informant on site.
The 1:30 p.m. call matches an incident detailed by KHTS Radio, which reported that Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies responding to the call alleging a 3-year-old child was thrown to the ground found the rapper livestreaming, with no children or informant actually on site. Blueface's residence sits in the Canyon Country neighborhood of Santa Clarita, an area that has become a repeat target for hoax callers over the past several months.
A Pattern Stretching Back to Summer
Wednesday's double call was not an isolated event. On August 24, Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies detained Blueface and others at gunpoint inside his King of Crab restaurant in Santa Clarita after a caller falsely claimed someone had been shot five times inside, according to footage reviewed by Key News Network. Per the same account, deputies released everyone once it became clear no crime had occurred.
Weeks before that, on July 21, law enforcement swarmed Blueface's Santa Clarita residence and detained occupants at gunpoint after a swatting call falsely claimed the rapper had fatally shot his girlfriend and tied up their daughter, according to The Independent. The July 21 call was one of several false reports involving the rapper.
