Buffalo is starting Halloween near 40 degrees, with temperatures expected to reach about 56 this afternoon. The dry weather should cooperate for costumes, errands and outdoor plans, though temperatures will slide back toward 39 after sunset.
Dry Halloween, Chilly After Dark
The National Weather Service in Buffalo expects dry weather Saturday. No watches, warnings or advisories are posted for the city.
Halloween night will turn partly cloudy, with a low around 41. Anyone staying out for evening events or trick-or-treating will want a warm layer once the sun disappears.
Warm-Up Arrives Sunday
The weekend quickly gets milder after Saturday’s chill, with partly sunny skies and a high near 64 on Sunday. Monday looks warmer still, reaching about 65 under mostly sunny skies, while overnight lows rise to around 49 Sunday night and 51 Monday night.
Unsettled Weather May Return Thursday
Tuesday could reach 69 degrees, with dry weather expected through Wednesday. Unsettled conditions may return Thursday.
Friday could be partly sunny. The extended outlook is a wetter turn from Hoodline’s earlier forecast, which focused mainly on the dry Halloween weekend and the first hints of midweek rain.
