Bradenton police are asking for help locating 17-year-old Janna Marie Lloyd, last seen near the city’s Riverwalk in the area of Manatee Memorial Hospital. The department’s appeal describes her appearance and clothing.
In a Friday post, the Bradenton Police Department identified the case as an “Attempt to Locate — Missing/Runaway Juvenile.”
Police said Lloyd is 5 feet 5 inches tall, has red hair, and has tattoos on her right wrist and lower back.
The department said Lloyd was wearing a pink T-shirt with “Pace” printed on it, gray sweatpants and black Crocs. Police placed her last known location near the Riverwalk and Manatee Memorial Hospital but did not give a more precise time or location.
Riverwalk access and length
According to the City of Bradenton, the Riverwalk is open 24 hours a day. The city describes it as a 2.03-mile stretch along the Manatee River between the Green and DeSoto bridges.
How to Report Information
Anyone with information about Lloyd’s whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Craddock by email at [email protected] or call 941-932-9300. Call 911 in an emergency.
Department Notes Limited Social Media Monitoring
The department’s appeal lists an email address and phone number for people with information; it does not state whether the department monitors social-media messages around the clock.
Reporting a Missing Child
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says there is no waiting period to report a missing child. That is general reporting guidance, not a detail about Lloyd’s case.
In a separate Bradenton Police case, 17-year-old Gisselle Diaz-Maldonado was last seen October 16 in the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Ave E and was later located safe in Fort Lauderdale early Thursday, October 23, with assistance from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. The department also reported an arrest in that case, according to its release.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances of Lloyd’s disappearance. Hoodline will update this report if the department releases additional information.
