Milwaukee is opening Monday with a crisp 52°F and mostly clear skies, but the day will turn cloudier as a northeast breeze settles in. Temperatures should top out near 56°F, making for a jacket kind of day across the city.
The National Weather Service expects northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph, with a chance of rain showers developing after 4 p.m. Rain chances remain low overall, but a few passing showers could complicate late-day walks, commutes, or outdoor plans.
Cool Monday Gives Way To Warmer Weather
Monday night stays mostly cloudy with a low around 47°F and continued northeast winds. Tuesday brings a modest rebound, with partly sunny skies and a high near 60°F.
The warmup becomes more noticeable Wednesday, when Milwaukee could reach 69°F under partly sunny skies. That mild stretch may peak Thursday near 70°F, although showers and thunderstorms become possible, with a 40% chance of precipitation.
Rain Chances Return For Halloween Weekend
Another round of unsettled weather could arrive late Thursday and continue into the weekend. Friday through Sunday brings highs in the lower to mid-60s, mostly cloudy skies, and daily rain chances around 30%, including a chance of showers on Halloween.
Boaters on Lake Michigan should also note that a Small Craft Advisory is scheduled to begin Monday morning and continue into Tuesday because of gusty winds and waves. No land-based watches or warnings are in effect for Milwaukee.
