A 13-year-old boy is missing out of Canton Township, and police are asking the public to help bring him home. Sirr Parker was last seen around 8 p.m. Tuesday near Geddes Road and Canton Center Road, wearing a black-and-gray hoodie, a white T-shirt and black pants.
According to ClickOnDetroit, Canton police said Parker left the area voluntarily and on foot. Officers have not released further detail about what led up to his disappearance or when the report was first filed, but they are actively seeking information from anyone who may have seen him.
What Police Know So Far
Investigators have shared only the basic circumstances of Parker's last known movements: the time, the intersection, and the clothing he was wearing when he walked away. The report does not indicate whether he has since been located or provide any update on his status beyond those initial details.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Canton Police Department at 734-394-5400. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP, and the station's report notes that tips submitted through that line are kept anonymous.
A Second Canton Teen Went Missing Earlier This Month
Parker's disappearance comes less than two weeks after another Canton Township case made headlines. On Oct. 15, police sought help finding 15-year-old Antonio Arroaga-Silva, who was last seen around 9 a.m. near Canton Center and Joy roads, according to a separate ClickOnDetroit report. In that case, too, police said Arroaga-Silva left the area on foot.
The two incidents are not confirmed to be connected, but both involve Canton Township teenagers who walked away from public locations in broad view of the community. Residents in the area are being asked to stay alert and to pass along any potential sightings to authorities rather than approach the teens directly.
Police have not released additional updates on either case beyond what was reported at the time each boy went missing. Anyone who recognizes Parker's description or saw him Tuesday night near Geddes and Canton Center roads is urged to come forward.
