Carly Rae Jepsen is set to play her biggest headlining Michigan concert to date, with a stop at Detroit's Fox Theatre booked for May 22, 2027. The show lands as part of a 26-date North American run supporting her eighth studio album, Day and Night, and it marks her return to the area for the first time in years.
Fox Theatre officials announced the concert, which The Detroit News reports will be Jepsen's biggest headlining Detroit-area show to date. According to Variety, the Detroit date is one stop on her Day and Night tour, which kicks off April 15, 2027, at Edmonton's Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and wraps with a closing-night performance on May 29 at Montreal's MTELUS.
Jepsen, 40, last played the area at the Fillmore Detroit in 2019, per the seed report. The upcoming Fox Theatre date represents a jump in scale for her Michigan fan base, who will get to see her in a larger venue for the first time since that show.
New Double Album Fuels the Run
The tour is built around Day and Night, a double-disc project that Variety notes is Jepsen's eighth studio album. The pop singer released Day and Night in mid-September, following up 2023's The Loveliest Time, which served as a companion piece to 2022's The Loneliest Time.
Jepsen first broke into the pop mainstream with Call Me Maybe, the breakout single released in 2012 that turned her into an international star. More than a decade later, she's still drawing crowds large enough to fill one of Detroit's most storied venues, the historic Fox Theatre.
How to Get Tickets
Ticket access for the Detroit show rolls out in stages. Verizon customers enrolled in the carrier's Shine loyalty program get first crack at a presale beginning Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. local time, according to Variety. An artist presale follows on Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. local time, and general on-sale opens to the public on Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
Fans hoping to see the full itinerary can check the Fox Theatre's own event listings on Ticketmaster as the May 2027 date approaches. With the tour spanning 26 dates across North America, Detroit's stop is shaping up to be one of the bigger nights on Jepsen's calendar as she brings her newest material to the stage for area fans who've waited since 2019 for her return.
