A new Chipotle is about to land in Cedar Park, and it's bringing a drive-through lane with it. The location at 1521 Juliette Way is set to open Wednesday, October 21, 2026, and the restaurant is currently hiring ahead of its debut.

The opening date and hiring push come from Community Impact Newspaper, which reported that company spokesperson Jaden Hall confirmed the details in an email. Hall said the new location will have a drive-through, a feature Chipotle calls a Chipotlane, and said the restaurant is actively staffing up before it opens its doors. Chipotle's own location page lists the Cedar Park address as a coming-soon restaurant, with a menu that includes burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos and salads, according to locations.chipotle.com.

Hall also pointed to the chain's newer high-protein offerings as part of what Cedar Park diners can expect at the location. The company's listing specifically ties the restaurant to the New High Protein Cup and the Double High Protein Bowl, per the same Chipotle location page.

A Permit Record Lists a Different City

Not every document lines up cleanly with the Cedar Park address. A project record from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation lists the same street address, 1521 Juliette Way, under Cedar Creek, Texas 78613, rather than Cedar Park. That same TDLR record describes the project as new construction with an estimated cost of $650,000, a start date of Sept. 1, 2026, and a completion date of Feb. 1, 2027.

There's also an earlier version of this story floating around. Coverage from SprawlTag in November 2025 described a planned Chipotle at 1210 Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park, a separate address from the one now listed as coming soon. That earlier plan called for a 2,380-square-foot building with construction beginning in January 2026 and wrapping by June 2026, according to SprawlTag's reporting at the time. Whether that project and the Juliette Way site are connected, separate, or one replaced the other isn't established in the available records.

Part of a Bigger Chipotlane Push

Whatever the paperwork says about addresses, the drive-through concept itself is central to Chipotle's current growth strategy. The chain opened its 1,500th Chipotlane on Sept. 29 at a location in Bradenton, Florida, according to Fast Casual, and the outlet reports Chipotle has added 500 of these pickup lanes in less than two years. Chipotlanes were launched back in 2018 to let customers grab prepaid digital orders placed through the company's app or website, the same report notes.

The scale of the rollout is notable. Fast Casual reports that Chipotle opened 334 company-owned restaurants in 2025, 257 of them with Chipotlanes, and the chain plans to open up to 370 more restaurants in 2026. SprawlTag has described this kind of expansion as part of Chipotle's broader push into growing suburban markets around the Austin area, which would put Cedar Park squarely in that pattern.

The economics behind the lanes help explain the pace. Restaurants with a Chipotlane generated roughly 15% higher sales than traditional Chipotle locations, according to Restaurant Dive, which also reported that Chipotle expected 80% of its planned 2022 and 2023 openings to include the feature. The company hit its 500th Chipotlane back in November 2022, Restaurant Dive noted, a milestone that's now roughly tripled nationwide. For Cedar Park residents, the immediate takeaway is simpler: a burrito bowl with a drive-through option is coming to Juliette Way, and the restaurant is hiring before the lights go on.
