The Dog Haus Biergarten on Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park is slinging hot dogs and burgers again after a short shutdown, this time under a new owner with bigger plans for the brand around Austin. New owner Robert Mason bought the location and reopened it after a closure of a few days, he said.
According to Community Impact Newspaper, the Whitestone Boulevard location reopened under new ownership after a brief closure last month. The restaurant sits at 3101 E. Whitestone Blvd., Building G, Ste. 200, an address confirmed on the Dog Haus official location page. That official listing also details the chain's hand-crafted, hormone- and antibiotic-free hot dogs, sausages, burgers, plant-based proteins and its Bad Mutha Clucka.
New Owner Has His Sights Set on Expansion
Mason isn't stopping at one storefront. The same report notes he plans to open more Dog Haus locations in the Austin area as he works through this transition at the Cedar Park spot. He's also looking for ways for the restaurant to give back to the community, including by offering free meals for kids on Sundays, per the same account.
Dog Haus' menu includes its signature hot dogs, called Haus Dogs, along with burgers, sandwiches, burritos and more, the report notes. Mason also confirmed that the other Dog Haus location in the area, on FM 620 in northwest Austin, is permanently closed.
A Different Owner Opened the Spot in 2023
The Cedar Park Dog Haus has changed hands since it first opened. Back in December 2023, Community Impact reported that Dog Haus Biergarten celebrated its grand opening in Cedar Park, with the Cedar Park and Four Points locations both owned locally by franchisees Mark and Heather Durbin at that time. That earlier coverage also described a dog-friendly patio and a full bar with 24 beers on tap and signature cocktails rounding out the space.
One detail has shifted in the public record along with the ownership: the 2023 article listed the Cedar Park address as Building F, while the newer reopening report and the official Dog Haus location page both list Building G, Suite 200. For now, Cedar Park diners can expect the familiar lineup of Haus Dogs and burgers, with Mason's talk of expansion and community giveback hinting at more changes to come at the Whitestone Boulevard storefront.
