A missing-runaway-juvenile notice in Citrus County was marked “FOUND SAFE.”
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office posted a notice about a missing runaway juvenile on Friday, October 30, 2026.
A sheriff’s public bulletin is distinct from Florida’s formal Missing Child Alert. The state alert criteria require a child to be under 18, a well-founded belief that the child is in danger of death or serious bodily injury, a detailed description or photograph, and a recommendation from the local law enforcement agency. A local notice by itself does not establish whether those criteria were met.
Seed facts tied to the case add further detail: the Sheriff's Office received the report of Kadence as a missing runaway juvenile on Tuesday, and he was last seen at approximately 5:25 p.m. that day in Beverly Hills. At the time, he was wearing a red collared shirt, a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and gray New Balance shoes.
Florida issued 404 missing-person alerts across all categories in 2024, including 84 Missing Child Alerts. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s 2024 figures report 399 recoveries from 404 state alerts. Those totals cover all alert categories statewide, not just Missing Child Alerts or local runaway notices.
How to Report Information
Anyone with information on Kadence's whereabouts is asked to call the Citrus County Sheriff's Office at 352-249-2790. The case has also been assigned to Detective Reeder, who can be reached directly at 352-560-2052 or by email at [email protected].
Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous, and who may be eligible for a reward, can instead contact Citrus County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-269-8477, also listed as 1-888-ANY-TIPS, or through its website, crimestopperscitrus.com.
Citrus County Crime Stoppers is a community tip program rather than the investigating agency. The organization says its anonymous tip line does not display caller ID or record conversations, and that tip information is passed to the appropriate investigating officer. Its board may authorize rewards of up to $3,000, though tipsters can choose not to claim them.
What We Still Don't Know
As of the bulletin's posting, it is not known whether Kadence has been located or whether the case remains active. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance from Beverly Hills have not been detailed by investigators.
