Clearwater's Coachman Park is throwing open its gates Friday evening for Fall-O-Ween, a free family Halloween bash running from 6 to 10 p.m. with a candy trail, costume contest and a tribute band honoring Carrie Underwood.
The event returns to the downtown waterfront park for a Friday, October 30 celebration. As reported by Axios, the free fall celebration runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and features a candy trail, costume contest and a Carrie Underwood tribute band performance.
A listing on allevents.in places the gathering at 300 Cleveland Street in Clearwater and describes the night as “a free evening of not-so-scary fun” at Coachman Park. That same listing details a lineup that includes a costume contest, candy trail, food trucks and a performance by the Carnival Ride Carrie Underwood Tribute Band, with the event organized by Coachman Park itself.
What Families Can Expect Friday Night
Beyond the candy trail and costume contest, food trucks line the park for anyone looking to grab dinner before the evening's main entertainment. The free event offers families a chance to enjoy Halloween festivities without a ticket price.
The night's headline entertainment comes from the Carnival Ride Carrie Underwood Tribute Band, set to perform live as part of the evening's four-hour run.
How This Year Compares To 2025
Coachman Park hosted a Fall-O-Ween event last fall too, though the lineup looked different. According to a Visit St. Pete/Clearwater listing for the October 24, 2025 event, that edition featured a costume contest, a Jeep display, vendors, trick-or-treating, food trucks and live tribute performances for both Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. This year's entertainment swaps in the Carrie Underwood tribute act, though organizers haven't detailed a minute-by-minute schedule for Friday's event.
Whatever the differences from last year's party, the formula stays the same: a free night at Coachman Park built around costumes, candy and live music, giving Clearwater families an easy, no-cost way to kick off Halloween weekend.
