Downtown Los Angeles is forecast to see rain around Sunday, with a high near 72 degrees. The wet stretch will continue into Monday before sunshine and much warmer temperatures return later in the week.

Beach Flooding And Dangerous Surf Remain A Serious Concern
A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect for Los Angeles County beaches, including Long Beach, the Malibu Coast and Catalina Island, through 3 p.m. Sunday. Forecasters warn of potential damaging flooding at vulnerable beaches.
Beachgoers should also expect significant erosion, large breaking waves and dangerous rip currents, making swimming, surfing and walking near rocks especially risky.
Cool Monday Gives Way To A Fast Warm-Up
Rain showers remain likely Sunday night and Monday, with Monday’s high reaching only about 65 degrees. Most of the region should dry out Monday night, although a slight chance of showers remains before 11 p.m.
