Columbus starts Monday with a brief taste of October’s colder edge: Early temperatures are in the upper 40s under generally clear skies, with patchy fog possible through 9 a.m. The fog should give way to sunshine and a comfortable afternoon high near 70.
The latest National Weather Service forecast calls for a dry day with northwest winds around 5 knots, becoming north-northeast up to 10 knots. It is a more detailed update to Sunday’s Columbus forecast, which had pointed to a cooler Monday and an even colder night.
Clear Skies Bring A Chilly Monday Night
Monday night will stay clear as temperatures fall to around 41 degrees. Winds should ease, making it a crisp night for anyone heading out late, though sheltered areas north of the city could be cold enough for a touch of patchy frost.
Sunny Stretch Warms Up By Wednesday
Tuesday remains sunny with a high near 69 and a low around 45, followed by a warmer Wednesday topping out near 77. Sunshine and mostly dry conditions continue Thursday through Saturday, with highs in the mid-70s.
Sunday could bring a chance of rain showers, though timing remains uncertain.
