Comedian D'Lai takes the stage at Punch Line Houston on October 29, bringing a brand of stand-up built on hard-won personal history. The show lands at the downtown club's intimate room on Caroline Street, part of a national touring run for the veteran comic.
The performance is scheduled for the downtown Houston venue at 1204 Caroline St, according to CultureMap Houston. Punch Line Houston opened in September 2024 as the fourth location under Live Nation's comedy club brand, joining sister venues in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Philadelphia, according to Punch Line Houston. The club made its grand entrance that same month with two sold-out shows from Dave Chappelle, then added two more; Chappelle brought out Houston native Mo Amer as a surprise guest during the opening weekend.
A Downtown Room With Deep Roots
The space itself carries some local history: Punch Line Houston was built inside the former House of Blues restaurant, per the station's report. The 250-seat venue has hosted national touring headliners, showcases and open mics.
Anyone planning to catch D'Lai's set should know the venue enforces a two-drink minimum per person.
