Metro Dallas is expected to be mostly cloudy Friday, with a high near 75. Fairly widespread showers are expected to overspread much of the area during Friday daytime. Halloween’s rain threat looks front-loaded into Saturday morning rather than the evening trick-or-treat window.
Clouds Build Friday, Rain Odds Rise Tonight
Friday will stay mostly cloudy, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s before easing back during the afternoon. East winds should remain light at 5 mph or less, but fairly widespread showers should overspread much of the area during the day, with a low near 63 and about a 40% rain chance, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth.
Halloween Morning Could Be Damp, Evening Looks Better
Saturday brings a 40% chance of showers, which should taper by late afternoon, and a high near 75, so early outdoor plans may need a backup. The latest outlook favors improving conditions through the afternoon, with most of the Dallas area expected to be largely rain-free during the usual trick-or-treating window, although an isolated shower cannot be ruled out.
That timing is a meaningful improvement for Halloween night compared with the earlier forecast, which kept more uncertainty around the evening. The updated setup is detailed in Hoodline’s previous Dallas forecast.
Warm Sunday, More Active Monday
Sunday looks like the weekend’s better weather day, with partly sunny skies, a high near 82 and only a slight rain chance. Monday turns warmer, reaching about 84 degrees, with showers possible later.
Monday night may bring showers as the next system approaches. The forecast discussion says organized storms are possible, including a damaging-wind threat and perhaps hail, though the exact timing of the front remains uncertain.
Cooler, Calmer Weather Arrives Midweek
Tuesday brings a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 75. Wednesday could bring wrap-around precipitation or a mild, dry post-frontal air mass, followed by cooler overnight temperatures in the mid-50s and mostly clear skies.
