Pony rides, tractor hayrides and a hay maze are drawing families to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville this fall, as the garden center’s Fall Family Weekends continue on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1. Admission runs $15 per person, with discounted $10 tickets for adults 55 and older, kids 3 and under free, and dogs always welcome at no charge.
What’s Included With a Wristband
According to Eye On Annapolis, the event runs from Oct. 3 through Nov. 1, 2026, with hours set from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each weekend day at the Davidsonville location on 743 West Central Avenue. Homestead Gardens’ own event page, however, lists the run as starting Oct. 7 and continuing through Nov. 1, so families should double-check dates before planning a visit.
Per the same account, a festival wristband covers tractor hayrides, pony rides, the hay maze, inflatables, an obstacle course, a jump pad, face painting and barnyard animal visits. Organizers note that specific activities and animal appearances can vary by date. The event is aimed at families with children 12 and under, and the official Homestead Gardens Fall Family Weekends page describes it as being “designed especially for families,” listing pumpkin activities and live music as part of the weekend lineup alongside the rides and animals.
Free Areas and Food for Purchase
Visitors don’t need a wristband to enjoy every part of the property, the report notes. The pumpkin patch in the nursery, the fall market and retail store, and the on-site food trucks are all open to browse without purchasing festival admission. Apple cider donuts, baked goods and other food and drinks are available for separate purchase beyond the ticket price.
Tickets must be purchased online ahead of time, the article states, and ticket holders can show an emailed ticket on a phone or bring a printed copy to receive their wristband at the event. On-site parking is available, and Homestead Gardens advises visitors to check its website or Facebook page for any weather-related schedule changes.
Senior Discount Details Differ Slightly
The official event page states that seniors 55 and older receive five dollars off admission, while Eye On Annapolis separately lists the senior ticket price at $10 for adults in that age group. Either way, older visitors can expect a discount off the standard $15 admission. Dates and tickets for the remaining weekends are available at fallfest.homesteadgardens.com.
