People with information about an unsolved crime or someone sought by authorities can contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

How to Submit a Tip

Tips can be submitted by calling 720-913-STOP (7867) or online. Metro Denver Crime Stoppers says tipsters remain anonymous. More information is available from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

The organization says tipsters may be eligible for an award of up to $2,000. Details are available from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

What happens after an online tip?

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers says people who submit tips online receive a unique ID number to check their tip’s status and should log back in within 24–48 hours to check for follow-up questions, according to its online instructions.

Past cases show how tips have contributed to investigations. In a separate Denver triple-homicide case, FOX31 Denver reported that about a dozen tips helped police focus on Elijah Hood, who at the time faced three first-degree murder counts. In a separate bank-robbery investigation, 9NEWS reported that police learned on April 18, 2019, of a Crime Stoppers tip identifying Brianna Casias as the “Glamour Shot Bandit.”
