The Doobie Brothers are bringing their classic rock catalog to a brand-new Strip address, with Live Nation announcing a limited nine-show residency at BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The shows mark the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band's debut at the resort, with performances spread across four separate runs in 2027.
According to bravewords.com, the band will make its Fontainebleau Las Vegas debut for a limited nine-show residency, with dates scheduled for February 26-27, March 5-6, August 27-28, and September 1, 3 and 4. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, October 30, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, as reported by KSNV, and will be available through fontainebleaulasvegas.com.
Fans with a head start can jump the line a few days earlier. Citi cardmembers will have access to a presale beginning Tuesday, October 27, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, per the same bravewords.com report.
A Catalog Built on Decades of Hits
The Doobie Brothers' resume carries plenty of weight to fill a Strip theater. The band was inducted into the 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class, the outlet notes, and followed that honor with induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2025. Along the way, the group has sold more than 48 million albums and won four Grammy Awards.
KSNV's report lists the band's enduring hits as including Black Water, What a Fool Believes, China Grove, Long Train Runnin' and Listen to the Music — songs that have kept the Doobies on classic rock radio for generations. The group's sound is often described as an enduring blend of rock, soul and R&B, according to bravewords.com.
The band's catalog also got a notable addition last year. Its most recent album, Walk This Road, released in 2025, was the first Doobie Brothers record since 1980 to feature Michael McDonald on new songs, per Ultimate Classic Rock.
Inside BleauLive Theater
The residency will unfold inside BleauLive Theater, which Fontainebleau Las Vegas describes as a thoughtfully designed three-level venue in the heart of the Strip. The Las Vegas Review-Journal separately describes the room as a 3,800-seat venue that has hosted a healthy mix of touring acts and residency headliners.
The Doobie Brothers will join a lineup that already includes Billy Idol, who is scheduled for five shows at BleauLive from August 28 to September 5, and Keith Urban, set to return October 16 and 17, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Fontainebleau entertainment executive Fedor Banuchi told the paper that three recent concerts at the resort were mostly sold out and successful despite competing with major sporting events, saying, “we had three concerts, and they were all pretty much sold out and successful.”
Not the Band's First Vegas Run
This isn't the Doobie Brothers' first attempt at a Las Vegas residency. The band previously announced an eight-concert residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood for May 2022, with shows scheduled for May 13-14, 18, 20-21, 25 and 27-28, according to JamBase.
The new Fontainebleau dates slot the band into an increasingly crowded Strip residency calendar. Marc Anthony is listed for two November performances at Fontainebleau, while John Mayer's Sphere residency is listed as beginning in April and running through June, according to Billboard. Billboard's residency guide also notes that tickets to Las Vegas residencies first went on sale through Ticketmaster, the same system fans will likely navigate when the Doobie Brothers' tickets become available this week.
