Broad Heat Warning Extends Across Southern California
A broad heat warning is in effect across Southern California through next Thursday evening. Forecasters say temperatures could reach 90 degrees near the coast and 105 in the valleys.
The forecast for KLAX includes an east wind component. The night will stay warm as well, with a low around 77 and mostly clear skies, according to the National Weather Service.
Triple-Digit Heat Eases Slowly Later This Week
Monday will remain nearly as hot, with a sunny high near 101 and a low around 76. Temperatures should ease to about 97 Tuesday and 96 Wednesday, but afternoons will remain hot.
