Police Confirm Jolason Has Been Located
The Evansville Police Department shared a brief Facebook update about Jolason.
A Familiar Pattern of Local Search Efforts
Evansville has seen other search efforts unfold in recent days. In a separate case on October 23, Vanderburgh County deputies were dispatched to the area of the USI sports fields on Broadway Avenue to help locate two missing Evansville teenagers, according to 14 News. That case is not known to be connected to Jolason’s disappearance, but it illustrates how quickly local agencies have mobilized this month when residents go missing.
In the October 23 incident, deputies searched the area and used drones to aid their efforts, 14 News reported. Ohio Valley Search and Rescue ultimately located the teenagers in a wooded area near the USI Softball Complex and alerted deputies, who then responded and safely located the teens, the outlet noted.
What Remains Unknown About Jolason’s Case
Beyond the confirmation that Jolason has been found, the Evansville Police Department’s post did not include further details about the circumstances of the disappearance or the location. No additional statement had been issued beyond the location update at the time of publication.
