Investigation Led to a Specific Homewood Address
According to the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force, investigators began looking into illegal fentanyl distribution in Shelby County several months before the raid, eventually identifying Frazier as a suspect operating in Homewood. That work led to a search warrant for a residence in Jefferson County, which investigators executed at a home in the 100 block of Olympia Drive in Homewood on October 8. The Homewood Police Department assisted the task force in carrying out the warrant, the task force says.
During the search, investigators contacted Frazier, Mallory and children who were present at the residence, per the same account. Investigators located fentanyl, methamphetamine, pills and firearms inside the home, the task force reported.

In a separate case, five people were arrested after the task force executed a search warrant at a residence in Harpersville on June 30, assisted by the Shelby County Tactical Response Unit, as reported by ABC 33/40. That search, conducted at a home in the 400 block of Highway 62, turned up methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, Suboxone, illegally possessed prescription medications and firearms, with all five suspects taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Shelby County Jail.
In March 2025, a joint operation between the task force and Jefferson County SWAT led to three arrests and the seizure of narcotics, firearms and a stolen motorcycle, according to WBRC. That investigation had begun the previous year, targeting illegal narcotic sales in Shelby County, and authorities in that case also discovered an infant inside the home, just feet away from the illegal drugs, the station reported.
