Reyes was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to WIVB. A 50-year-old passenger who was also riding in the Jeep was taken to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the station reported.
The Lockport Journal's report notes the investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and no further details about the cause of the collision have been released. Troopers have not indicated when the inquiry is expected to conclude.
