Dutch Bros Coffee is slated to open a new drive-thru location at 1261 Kingwood Drive in the fourth quarter of 2026. The 986-square-foot shop will include both drive-thru and walk-up areas, serving the chain's lineup of specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes, teas, nitrogen-infused cold brew, and its private-label Blue Rebel energy drink.

The Kingwood project appears in a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. Community Impact reported the opening.

Fourth Shop Rounds Out Lake Houston Footprint

This new address will mark Dutch Bros' fourth location in the Lake Houston area, joining three shops already open across the submarket. The chain first arrived in the area in February 2022 with a shop at 12240 W. Lake Houston Pkwy, before adding two more locations in Humble along W. Lake Houston Pkwy and N. Sam Houston Pkwy E., according to the same Community Impact report.

That steady drip of new stores fits a pattern playing out across the region. Since entering the Greater Houston market in 2021, Dutch Bros has expanded to nearly 40 locations, including its first Inner Loop shop near Rice University, which opened in October 2025, per Realty News Report.

Competitors Crowd Into the Same Corridor

Dutch Bros isn't the only drive-thru beverage brand betting on the Lake Houston corridor. Competitor 7 Brew Coffee moved forward in September 2026 with plans to build a kiosk at 19250 W. Lake Houston Pkwy in nearby Humble, as Hoodline previously reported.

A Growing Coffee Chain

Dutch Bros has expanded its Lake Houston-area presence.

Dutch Bros continues to expand its footprint.

For Kingwood residents, the new shop means one more stop in a neighborhood where the coffee wars are clearly just getting started. More information on the chain is available at www.dutchbros.com.
