A 24/7 indoor golf facility is headed to Georgetown, with Another Nine Golf planning to open a new location at 210 Blue Springs Blvd., Suite 102, in late January 2027. The opening is pending permits and construction timelines, and it marks a one-month delay from the franchise's original December target.

The Georgetown location, according to WhatNow, is owned by franchisee Soham Thakker, who said permitting and design work pushed the timeline back. “We have to push back a month just because permitting and designs took longer,” Thakker said. He had initially hoped to land a spot along I-35 for highway visibility, but ultimately settled on the Blue Springs Boulevard site.

Part of the appeal, per the same report, was the fact that The Junction — a nearly 60,000-square-foot food, drink, and entertainment complex — is opening directly across the parking lot. That project broke ground on November 13, 2025, and is expected to open in November, though the source attributing that timeline did not specify a year. Suite 104 at The Junction is slated to become the first Georgetown location for KidsUnited, adding a family-oriented neighbor to the development.

Private Suites, No Membership Required

Another Nine Golf was founded by Ethan Grob and Brett Jewell, and the company opened its first location in 2024. The Georgetown club will feature private simulation suites powered by Trackman technology, according to Community Impact, with the practice rooms designed for everyone from total beginners to experienced players.

Guests do not need a membership to play. The Georgetown report notes that visitors simply book an hour through the company's app or website, and the franchise does offer memberships, though they are not the operation's main focus. Each private suite comes stocked with a bar, a mini fridge, and TVs, and suites can be connected together for corporate outings or larger group gatherings.

The course count attached to Another Nine's Trackman systems varies by report. Community Impact's coverage of the Georgetown site describes access to more than 300 courses, while a separate account of the company's North Carolina expansion from Here Rock Hill cites more than 350 courses companywide, leaving the exact figure for Georgetown unclear.

A Franchise on the Move

Another Nine has signed 71 franchise agreements across 16 states, per WhatNow's reporting, and Thakker said expansion is not currently a priority for his operation. Still, the broader company is growing briskly elsewhere. Here Rock Hill reported that Another Nine is rolling out 14 new territories across North Carolina, where the Charlotte Metro market has already sold out with 12 sites in development. The chain's first North Carolina franchise recently opened in Cornelius, and that operator has plans for four more sites in the greater Charlotte region.

A separate Another Nine location is also planned at 25282 Northwest Freeway in Cypress, Texas, according to The SimSpot Wire, built around a self-service, access-code entry model. That Cypress club is planned to run 24 hours a day with suites fitting four to eight players around a single Trackman simulator. Another Nine's franchise model reportedly began in Cincinnati, with startup costs starting around $330,000, as noted by Emerging Franchise Brands. The company's own social accounts describe its original Cincinnati club as fully self-service and open around the clock.

Why Indoor Golf Is Having a Moment

The Georgetown opening lands amid a broader surge in indoor golf nationally. More than 48 million people played golf in 2025, and more than 19 million of them took part exclusively in off-course activities like simulators, according to KHOU. The appeal, that report notes, is that simulator golf can be played on demand, with no tee time, daylight, or good weather required.

Texas is seeing competition on that front beyond Georgetown. Golf Lounge 18 is targeting a 2027 opening for its first Texas location at Shops at Tech Ridge in North Austin, as Hoodline previously reported, leasing roughly 12,000 square feet for what would be the chain's 14th location nationwide. That venue is planned to include a full bar, kitchen, and TrackMan technology tracking more than 40 ball and club parameters.

Another Nine's own website lists three locations currently open and 71 more in the development pipeline, according to a separate Community Impact roundup of Georgetown business news. For now, Georgetown golfers without a membership — or a tee time — will have to wait for a grand-opening date, which the company has said will be announced closer to the late-January debut.
