Madison Square Garden is getting a new place to grab dinner between periods. The arena, along with the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, has named Glaze Teriyaki an official partner, and the deal comes with a dedicated concession stand set to open on the venue's sixth-floor concourse.
The arrangement, announced Wednesday, September 30, 2026, gives Glaze a permanent foothold in one of the city's highest-traffic sports and entertainment venues, according to citybiz. The new stand will sit on the sixth-floor concourse near Sections 105 and 106, per Glaze Teriyaki's own location listing. Beyond the standalone counter, Glaze products will also be offered in select premium hospitality areas throughout the Garden, the citybiz report notes.
Glaze's menu at the Garden will center on rice bowls built with chicken, grass-fed steak or vegetables, alongside pork, chicken and vegetable dumplings, the same report states. The brand describes its food as made fresh to order and finished with house-made teriyaki sauces, according to its website, and markets its offerings as clean, inclusive and customizable enough to suit diets ranging from vegan to keto.
Marketing Reach Extends Beyond the Concourse
The deal isn't limited to food service. It also folds in in-venue advertising, team marketing, promotions and activations tied to select Knicks and Rangers games as well as select concerts, the citybiz article reports. Glaze is slated to receive brand promotion during select Garden events as part of the package.
Paul Krug said Glaze is thrilled to join Madison Square Garden and become part of an iconic New York institution, adding that the arena is at the heart of much of the city's sports, music, culture and entertainment. Doug Jossem said MSG strives to make every part of the guest experience memorable by providing diverse, thoughtfully selected dining options.
Another Addition to a Revolving Concession Lineup
The Glaze deal follows a pattern at the Garden, which has steadily refreshed and expanded its food offerings in recent seasons. Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment struck a multiyear partnership with Impossible Foods earlier this year that also included a concession stand on the arena concourse, according to Business Wire.
That kind of concession turnover has been a theme for several seasons. For the 2023-24 season, newcomers including Go Beyond Grill and Monster Bodega joined longtime vendor Daily Burger, which Foodservice Director reported had sold an estimated 125,000 burgers during the 2022-23 season at Knicks and Rangers games. Go Beyond Grill served plant-based steak tacos and a pea-protein burger from its own branded kiosk, while Monster Bodega debuted a chopped-cheese sandwich, the outlet reported. The Garden also added at least half a dozen new menu items at its long-standing kiosks that season, on top of an operation that draws on 1,042 beer kegs to keep draft beer flowing to the stands.
Fans Could Win Concert Tickets Through the Partnership
Glaze restaurants will participate in a sweepstakes giving a customer the chance to win tickets to a Madison Square Garden concert, part of the broader push to connect the brand with Knicks and Rangers audiences. Glaze is also set to receive placements on IPTV screens on the sixth- and eighth-floor concourses, along with additional exposure through Knicks and Rangers pre-game emails and concourse activations throughout the season, including at select concerts.
Madison Square Garden Sports owns the Knicks and the Rangers, as well as the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League and the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League. Madison Square Garden Entertainment, the arena's other operator, also runs the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre and the Chicago Theatre, and produces the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes. For Glaze, the tie-up marks a notable expansion of its presence in New York through one of the city's busiest sports and entertainment stages.
