A dental practice with half a century of roots in Goldsboro has a brand-new home. Smith, Adams & Pilkington Family Dentistry completed a new facility in Goldsboro, Wayne County, on Dec. 12, 2025, according to the building's contractor, Farrior & Sons.
The 7,352-square-foot building offers dental services ranging from professional cleanings to cosmetic care, as reported by WCTI. Farrior & Sons, the construction firm behind the project, described the finished facility as a modern, family-friendly space, according to the company's Smith, Adams and Pilkington Dental progress update. Chris Cruz served as superintendent on the project, per Farrior & Sons, which noted in an earlier update that “the building is taking great shape” as construction neared completion.
A Family Practice Built Over Five Decades
The practice traces its roots back decades before any groundbreaking took place. Smith, Adams & Pilkington Family Dentistry says on its website that it has served the Goldsboro community for 50 years, tracing a family-practice tradition established in 1976 by the owners' parents. The practice describes itself as a place that cares for patients through every stage of life, according to its about-us page.
That multigenerational thread runs through the current clinical team. Dr. C. Bradley Adams brings more than 20 years of experience in comprehensive dentistry, Invisalign clear-aligner therapy and complex prosthodontic rehabilitation, the practice's website states. Dr. Meredith Adams focuses her work on children and adolescents and continues her family's practice tradition established in 1976, per smithandadamsdental.com. Dr. Emilee Q. Pilkington, who graduated in the top 5 percent of her UNC class, practices prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry, while Dr. David Klucznik, with nearly a decade of experience, has completed advanced implant training with Implant Pathway.
What The New Building Offers Patients
The practice markets itself as a one-stop option for dental care across age groups, saying on its website, “From baby teeth to senior care, we're here for it all.” Services listed include general, restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, implant, emergency and oral-surgery care, along with clear aligners through Invisalign, for which the practice identifies itself as a Gold-Level Provider.
Convenience is a theme in how the practice describes its approach. It offers appointments as early as 7 a.m. on Thursdays and prioritizes same-day emergency care, according to its about-us page. The practice also says it offers sedation options for patients who need extra support, along with same-day crowns made in-office.
Technology And Comfort In Patient Care
Beyond scheduling flexibility, the practice emphasizes the tools it uses chairside. It says it relies on digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, intraoral scanning and other modern technologies as part of patient care, according to smithandadamsdental.com. Taken together, the new building gives a practice with 50 years of history in Goldsboro a freshly built space to continue that work.
