A charcuterie board franchise is setting up shop in one of Northern Virginia's wealthiest communities. Graze Craze Charcuterie Boards & Boxes has a second Northern Virginia location in development, this time at 1146A Walker Road in the Leigh Corners commercial center in Great Falls, Virginia.
The news was first reported by The Burn, which noted that Graze Craze is a nationally franchised retail brand specializing in cheese and charcuterie boards and other foods built for parties and special events. The chain's menu includes small, medium, and large boards packed with cheeses, meats, breads, crackers, fruits, vegetables, pickles, and dips, alongside picnic boxes and sandwich trays, according to the same report. Per The Burn, the company opened its first Northern Virginia location in Arlington back in 2023.
A Familiar Brand Returns to the Region
Graze Craze's history in the D.C. suburbs actually traces back a bit further. In March 2024, the chain opened its first Northern Virginia storefront inside the Le Méridien Arlington hotel in Rosslyn, operated by franchisee Amaan Bhanji, who was the company's youngest franchise owner, according to ArlNow. That outlet also traced the brand's roots to 2018, when it was founded in Oklahoma by U.S. Air Force veteran Kerry Sylvester, who partnered with Florida-based United Franchise Group in 2021 to expand nationally through franchising.
The Great Falls build-out comes at a moment of rapid national growth for the brand. Graze Craze hit its 100th location milestone in October 2025 with a store opening in Orlando, Florida, reaching that mark in under five years since launching its franchise program, per United Franchise Group. The parent company describes itself as a West Palm Beach-based umbrella organization managing multiple franchise brands across more than 1,600 locations in 60 countries.
No Kitchen, Just Cold Assembly
Graze Craze stores notably skip traditional kitchen cooking equipment altogether. Staff members called grazologists handle exclusively cold food assembly, and franchise disclosures cite an average unit volume of approximately $293,000 per single store, Hoodline previously reported in coverage of an Alpharetta location. Customizable offerings at Graze Craze locations range from single-serving Char-Cutie cups to full party boards, with options built to accommodate keto, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets.
The Leigh Corners center itself sits near Route 7 and Walker Road and comprises approximately 30,000 square feet of office and retail commercial condominium space built in 1986, according to a LoopNet listing. It's a modest, decades-old retail strip for a brand betting on the buying power of its surrounding neighborhood.
Why Great Falls Fits the Formula
That buying power is considerable. According to 2024 U.S. Census Bureau data, Great Falls had a median household income exceeding $250,000 and a median property value of approximately $1.41 million, figures that help explain why a specialty catering brand would target the community for its next storefront.
The move also tracks with broader momentum in the charcuterie business. Future Data Stats reported a global charcuterie market value of $41.5 billion in 2025 and projected the market to grow from $43.9 billion in 2026 to $65.1 billion by 2033, at a compound annual growth rate of 5.8% over 2026–2033, according to Future Data Stats. The category has increasingly leaned into spectacle, too: Texas grocer Central Market set a Guinness World Record in September 2024 by building a 1,000-pound charcuterie board in Austin, a stunt that underscored just how far grazing boards have traveled from niche appetizer to mainstream catering staple.
For now, Graze Craze's Great Falls plans remain in development, with no confirmed opening date, franchisee name, or word on how much interior buildout the Leigh Corners space will need before it's ready for customers.
