Three armed robberies struck Northeast D.C. within a span of just 92 minutes overnight, with police saying the same green Hyundai Santa Fe sporting Virginia license plates showed up at every scene. The first two robberies were reported two minutes apart, followed by a third roughly ninety minutes later, according to police.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the pattern began at 1:23 a.m. at 5th and K Streets NE (CCN 26150270), followed almost immediately at 1:25 a.m. by a robbery at 300 Morse Street NE (CCN 26150267). The third incident hit at 2:55 a.m. at 1500 Elkington Place NE (CCN 26150285). In each case, MPD says armed suspects got out of the green Hyundai Santa Fe, brandished a firearm, and demanded the victims' belongings. WJLA also reported on the department's appeal for help identifying the robbers.
MPD is now offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case, the department said. The department is asking anyone with information to come forward.

The third incident was reported at 2:55 a.m. at 1500 Elkington Place NE, 90 minutes after the robbery at 300 Morse Street NE.
