A few isolated showers could still brush the area, though the chance of rain remains low. East winds will make the afternoon feel noticeably breezier after a wetter stretch earlier this week.
Trade Winds Return For A Breezy Weekend
The National Weather Service Honolulu forecast says light to moderate trade winds will return Saturday. Brief showers will be more likely in windward and mauka areas, while Honolulu proper should see mostly sunny conditions. No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect.
Saturday night should be mostly clear, with a low near 75 degrees and lighter east-northeast winds. Sunday follows with another sunny day and a high around 86, while Monday is expected to reach about 87 under mostly sunny skies.
Small Shower Chances Return Midweek
The forecast turns a little more changeable Monday night, when isolated showers could develop after midnight. Relatively dry trade winds are expected through the end of the week, with showers possible in windward and mauka areas.
Gentle to fresh trade winds are expected through much of next week. For outdoor plans, the practical takeaway is a sunny weekend with a persistent trade-wind breeze, followed by a relatively dry trade-wind pattern, with showers possible in windward and mauka areas.
