During a Houston police pursuit, a trailer reported stolen lost its wheels, according to information from HPD reported by KHOU.
The incident was reported by KHOU, which cited the Houston Police Department for its account.
What Police Have Confirmed So Far
HPD has not released where the chase began, what route it followed, or how it ultimately concluded. It is also not known whether the driver was arrested, whether anyone was hurt, or how much damage the trailer or surrounding property sustained. Police have not disclosed when or where the trailer was taken.
Texas trailer registration rules
As general state context—not a detail confirmed about this trailer—the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles says non-farm trailers operating on public highways must be registered. Registration and titling requirements vary by trailer type and weight.
HPD has not said whether it will release more information as the investigation continues. Hoodline will update this story if police provide further details about the chase, the driver, or the trailer.
