A national printing and signage franchise is setting up shop in Hutto, with AlphaGraphics set to open its doors next month offering everything from vehicle wraps to business cards. The move comes months after the company asked local economic development officials for a six-figure incentive package to help bring production work to town instead of outsourcing it to Austin.

AlphaGraphics will open a location in Hutto next month, according to Community Impact. The store will provide custom signs, large-format printing, canvas prints, business cards, vehicle wraps, vinyl banners and more, the outlet reports.

The expansion follows a request AlphaGraphics brought to the Hutto Economic Development Corporation on June 8, asking the agency to approve a performance-based incentive package, according to CitizenPortal.ai. The company requested $400,000 in city and EDC incentives, plus $125,000 in private in-kind discounts, per the same outlet's reporting.

Jobs and Production Pitch

According to CitizenPortal.ai, the proposed incentive package was framed as a way to help AlphaGraphics locate production equipment and staff in Hutto rather than outsourcing manufacturing work to Austin. The company told the EDC that the investment would create about six to seven full-time jobs locally, the article notes.

AlphaGraphics also projected an estimated 10-year economic return of roughly $3.5 million for the city, per the same account. The company's pitch tied the local hiring and equipment investment directly to that long-term return figure.

A Growing National Franchise

The Hutto opening comes as AlphaGraphics has been racking up industry recognition. The company was named to the 2026 Franchise Times Top 400, ranking No. 190 with more than $330 million in systemwide sales, according to a company release carried by Morningstar. That release describes AlphaGraphics as offering full-service digital, offset and large-format printing alongside design, mailing, marketing, promotional products and web-to-print solutions.

Reports differ on just how big the franchise's footprint is. Community Impact reports that AlphaGraphics has more than 270 locations worldwide, including four in the Austin area, while the Morningstar-published release states the company has more than 285 locations across six countries.

Hutto's future AlphaGraphics will join that expanding network, offering local businesses and residents a one-stop option for printed and promotional materials as the company seeks to locate production capacity in Hutto.
