JPMorgan Chase is planting its flag in two of North Texas's fastest-growing corners at once, announcing a 41,000-square-foot office rising inside the Tower at HALL Park in Frisco alongside a separate Fort Worth location that will nearly double the bank's local headcount to almost 300 employees by the time it opens in mid-2028.

The Frisco office, expected to open in early 2028, will house 120 employees working in commercial banking, the private bank, and select wealth management, according to The Business Journals. The space is built to hold up to 150 workers, with the bank planning to hire more than 100 new people to fill it. Graham Perry, in comments carried by the same report, said JPMorgan Chase wants to grow in Collin County alongside its clients and bring its people and capabilities closer to the businesses it serves.

A Tower Built for Growth

The Frisco office will sit roughly three miles from JPMorgan Chase's existing Legacy West campus in Plano, a facility the bank first announced in 2016 as part of a more than $300 million regional investment. That campus was originally envisioned to employ around 6,000 people in over 1 million square feet of space; it now employs approximately 13,000 and includes a Chase branch, a Starbucks, a childcare center, and dining and gathering spaces, per the same report. The new Frisco location will add a client center built for private meetings.

Ashley Herbst said the Frisco office will meet Collin County's growth with people and expertise for clients in the community, according to the Dallas Business Journal account. The 41,000-square-foot space will carry exterior J.P. Morgan signage on the Tower at HALL Park, a 16-story building. That tower was completed as part of HALL Group's roughly $7 billion transformation of its 162-acre Frisco property. Greek yogurt maker Chobani had already signed a 28,674-square-foot lease at the same tower, relocating its regional corporate office out of Plano, according to Local Profile.

Why Collin County Keeps Attracting Bank Money

Collin County's population reached an estimated 1.3 million in 2025, up nearly 22% since 2020, according to U.S. Census data cited in the Dallas Business Journal report. The county's median household income hit $121,600 in the latest five-year Census estimates, about 55% higher than the Texas statewide median of $78,476, per USAFacts. Separate Census figures reported by KERA News show Collin County gained nearly 43,000 residents between 2024 and 2025 alone, ranking second nationally in net population increase, trailing only Harris County.

Fort Worth Gets Its Own Three-Floor Bet

In Fort Worth, JPMorgan Chase plans to become an anchor tenant at Crescent Offices West, a building scheduled to open in 2027, occupying approximately 70,200 square feet when the bank's office opens in mid-2028. The move will expand the bank's Fort Worth office from about 160 employees today to nearly 300. J.T. Aughinbaugh said JPMorgan Chase is excited to keep growing alongside Fort Worth as the city surpasses one million residents and attracts new businesses and investment, according to the same account.

Fort Worth's population reached 1,028,117 as of July 2025, making it the 10th largest city in the country after adding more than 19,000 residents in a single year, as reported by WFAA. Crescent Real Estate broke ground on Crescent Offices West, an eight-story, 170,000-square-foot Class AA building in the city's Cultural District, in October 2026, with JPMorgan Chase set to occupy three floors, according to Crescent Real Estate. The building's predecessor, Crescent Offices East, opened in 2023 and quickly drew financial tenants including Morgan Stanley, PNC Bank, Raymond James, and Royal Bank of Canada.

Roots Dating Back to a Dallas Bank With $7,000

JPMorgan Chase traces one of its North Texas predecessor institutions back to 1916, when R.L. Thornton and his partners opened a small bank with $7,000 in an 18-foot room at 704 Main Street in downtown Dallas. That institution, which became Mercantile National Bank, grew alongside the city and eventually occupied an entire downtown block, the bank's history notes. Today JPMorgan Chase employs more than 17,000 people across Dallas-Fort Worth, and Chase operates nearly 200 branches across the region.

JPMorgan's North Texas Expansion

JPMorgan Chase's Frisco and Fort Worth projects add to the bank's physical footprint in North Texas.
