A new Juice It Up! has opened at 26475 Ynez Road, Suite 9, in Temecula's Palm Plaza Shopping Center. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and can be reached at (951) 726-5583.
The Temecula opening was detailed in a release from RestaurantNews.com, which named the owners as Fatemeh Toori and Peyman Zamanian. Toori cited strong brand foundations, innovative products and an exceptional guest experience as reasons for choosing Juice It Up!, adding that the franchisee is excited to bring the brand experience to the community and sees opportunity to grow relationships and the brand in Riverside County.
The chain's Inland Empire footprint includes a Calimesa store that opened in July 2023, according to the Inland Empire Business Journal. The Temecula store adds another node to that cluster, though the chain's own franchise materials describe it as part of a larger footprint of nearly 130 locations open or under development across California, New Mexico, Oregon, Oklahoma, Nevada, Utah and Texas, with the company also seeking expansion into Colorado.
Menu and Rewards
The Irvine-headquartered chain, founded in 1995, has built its menu around customizable açaí bowls, blended-to-order smoothies, fresh-squeezed raw juices, toasts, pretzels and other items, with a history of innovating with açaí and lesser-known ingredients since its founding. New Juice It Up! Rewards members can register for a free medium classic smoothie with a $5 minimum purchase, and the program lets members earn points toward future rewards while accessing special offers and streamlined ordering and payment options.
Sales Momentum Behind the Expansion
The Temecula opening arrives as the company's financials have strengthened considerably. Juice It Up! surpassed $50 million in total systemwide sales for the first time in 2024, after hovering near $45 million annually since 2022, according to the Orange County Business Journal. That growth has continued: the chain recorded a 13% year-over-year increase in total system sales and a 9.2% increase in same-store sales during the first half of 2026, reaching a systemwide average unit volume of $634,294, per QSR Magazine.
Performance varies widely by location — the trade publication's data shows the top 25% of Juice It Up! stores averaged $944,073 in unit volume during the same period, with the top 50% averaging $802,295 and seven individual locations topping $1 million in annual sales. The Orange County Business Journal's reporting also notes that about 99% of Juice It Up! locations are franchisee-owned, and that company leadership has adopted smaller physical store layouts in select markets specifically to reduce rent and buildout overhead for operators — a model the franchise says offers relatively lower development costs, simplified food costs, and a lighter labor model than many franchised brands.
Riding a National Smoothie Boom
The Temecula store's debut also lines up with broader shifts in the fast-casual beverage sector. The global smoothie market was valued at approximately $13.5 billion in 2024 and is projected to expand to $23.1 billion by 2030 at a 9.3% compound annual growth rate, according to competitor chain Robeks. The same analysis discusses GLP-1 medications' impact on the QSR industry and sales patterns at health-forward concepts.
For now, Juice It Up!'s franchise materials say the company continues to invite qualified franchisees to explore partnership opportunities as it builds out its Southwest Riverside County presence.
