
A 16-year-old boy has been missing on Hawaii Island since Friday morning, and police say he may need medical attention. Xian Kester Andres was last seen around 9:30 a.m. near Kea‘au High School and Highway 130 in Kea‘au, driving a 2024 two-door Subaru sedan with the license plate ZMG 315.
The Hawai‘i Police Department issued a public appeal for help locating Andres, according to Big Island Now, which reported that officers consider him missing and endangered. Police described him as 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and glasses.
Last Seen Near Highway 130
The timeline police have released is narrow: Andres was spotted near the intersection of Kea‘au High School and Highway 130 at 9:30 a.m. Friday, according to the same report.
