A 23-year-old Kīhei woman has not been seen since she was last seen at her Wailea workplace Saturday afternoon, and her family says going quiet like this is completely out of character for her. Alba Lozano Carrion was reported missing by a concerned family member on Sunday, and Maui police are now asking the public for help finding her.

According to Maui Now, Lozano Carrion was last seen at her workplace in Wailea around 2 p.m. Saturday. She never made it home that night, and she also failed to show up for work the next day, a break in routine that family members flagged almost immediately.

Cellphone Silence Raises Alarm

Repeated attempts to reach Lozano Carrion by cellphone have gone unanswered, and that silence is what pushed her family to alert authorities, the outlet reports. Investigators describe her lack of contact as uncharacteristic of her, a detail that has fueled urgency around the search since the Maui Police Department requested public assistance locating her, per the Facebook missing-person post shared by the Maui Police Department.

Police say Lozano Carrion may be operating a white 2006 Honda Civic four-door sedan bearing Hawaiʻi license plate LKY651. Anyone who spots the vehicle or has information on her whereabouts is being urged to come forward, according to the same report.

What She Looks Like, What She Was Wearing

Lozano Carrion is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a lip piercing. When she was last seen Saturday, she was wearing a black T-shirt printed with the word “Gather” in white lettering, along with grey pants and black shoes, the report states.

The Maui Police Department is asking anyone with information to call its non-emergency line at 808-244-6400, or to dial 911 if the matter is an emergency. Tipsters are asked to reference MPD report number 26-026091 when they call.
