A Capital Region ramen chain has opened inside a former bank in downtown Saratoga Springs. Kuma Ani has opened a new location at 23-25 Division Street, taking over the space once occupied by Saratoga's Community Federal Credit Union; it serves ramen, ban mein, donburi and bubble tea.
Kuma Ani Opens in Former Bank Space
According to News10, the Division Street space needed renovations before it could open. Kuma Ani announced on October 27, 2026, that the Saratoga Springs restaurant is now open, and the chain's own store listing on kumaani.com also confirms the Division Street address as a location.
Now open, the menu mirrors what Kuma Ani serves at its other Capital Region spots. The same report notes the food menu is the same as the other locations, featuring a variety of ramen, ban mein, and donburi offerings. The Saratoga Springs spot also serves bubble tea under the Bumble Teas name. News10 lists hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Kuma Ani's October 27 update says the Saratoga location operates Tuesday through Saturday.
Homemade Broth and a Pandemic-Era Pivot
Kuma Ani has built its menu around in-house preparation. The chain says on its own site that the noodles used for its ramen are made in house, as well as tonkotsu broth and chicken broth, per Kuma Ani. The company has also described converting one of its restaurants from sushi to ramen, citing uncertainty about securing premium ingredients from Japan.
The Saratoga Springs restaurant would mark further growth for a chain that has been steadily adding Capital Region addresses. Kuma Ani previously opened a location at 567 Watervliet Shaker Road in Latham, which the same News10 report described as the chain's third location in the Capital Region at the time, with bubble tea service unique to that spot. Kuma Ani separately announced on its own site that its ramen restaurant at 109 Wolf Road in Albany was open for business.
Conflicting Accounts of the Chain's Footprint
Exactly which towns round out Kuma Ani's roster depends on which source you check. News10's Latham coverage described the chain's other locations as being on 6th Avenue in Troy and Wolf Road in Colonie, while its more recent Saratoga Springs report again listed the chain's other locations as Colonie, Troy and Latham. Kuma Ani's own store listing, however, places that Wolf Road address in Albany rather than Colonie, alongside its Latham, Troy and now Saratoga Springs locations.
Whatever the final count, Division Street gives Saratoga Springs its own taste of the chain's ramen and bubble tea lineup, and the restaurant is now open.
