Fans of the hockey romance series “Heated Rivalry” will soon get to see the entire season on the big screen in Las Vegas, as local Regal theaters prepare to host a limited run of all six episodes starting next month. The event pairs episodes into three separate screenings, each priced at $9.99, giving local audiences a chance to revisit the acclaimed series in theaters rather than on a streaming device.

The rollout is part of a nationwide partnership between Regal Cinemas and Sphere Abacus, which is bringing all six episodes of the Crave Original series to more than 650 theaters across the country, according to a PR Newswire release. Nationally, the event runs from Nov. 6 through Nov. 30 at more than 275 Regal locations, with Regal serving as the lead distributor and extending the release to participating AMC, Cinemark and other exhibitor theaters, per the same announcement. Locally, KSNV reports that Regal Boulder Station, Regal Sunset Station and Regal Red Rock Casino will host the Las Vegas screenings.

Coverage of the local rollout has not been entirely consistent on the number of participating valley theaters. Fox5 Vegas reported that the series would screen across seven locations around the valley, while 8 News Now identified three specific Regal venues — Sunset Station, Boulder Station and Red Rock. Hoodline could not independently reconcile the discrepancy between the two reports.

How the Paired Screenings Break Down

Regal is structuring the complete series into three paired screenings: Episodes 1 and 2, Episodes 3 and 4, and Episodes 5 and 6, each sold separately for $9.99, according to the PR Newswire release. Per KSNV's reporting on local dates, Episodes 1 and 2 will screen Nov. 6 through 9, Episodes 3 and 4 will screen Nov. 6, 8 and 10, and Episodes 5 and 6 will screen Nov. 7, 8 and 11. In Las Vegas specifically, 8 News Now reports showtimes ranging from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. during the Nov. 6-11 window.

Beyond simply projecting the episodes, Regal screenings will include welcome content from the cast and directors along with limited-time themed cocktails, Fox5 Vegas reports. Advance tickets are available at theater box offices and kiosks, through the Regal mobile app, and at REGmovies.com, per the same report.

What the Series Is About — and Why Regal Wanted It

“Heated Rivalry,” based on the Game Changers book series, follows rival hockey players Shane Hollander, played by Hudson Williams, and Ilya Rozanov, played by Connor Storrie, according to the PR Newswire announcement. The show had a breakout awards run in May, winning 16 Canadian Screen Awards including Best Drama Series, Best Directing and a Best Lead Performer trophy for Williams, the release states.

Brooks LeBoeuf, Regal's senior vice president of U.S. content, said the company is proud to turn the season into a theatrical event nearly a year after its premiere, according to KSNV. LeBoeuf added that Regal aims to bring audience-connected series to theaters and give fans a shared viewing experience, the station reports.

Season Two Already in Production

Season two of “Heated Rivalry” is expected to arrive in 2027, with 8 News Now reporting a target of late spring 2027. The follow-up season is currently filming in Toronto and will add a slew of new cast members, including Justice Smith, Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer and Shaheen Jafargholi, according to The Hollywood Reporter. For now, the theatrical event gives Las Vegas fans a reason to revisit the first season before the next chapter lands.
