Detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office are asking residents for help tracking down a 32-year-old man wanted on multiple charges, including armed robbery and aggravated assault. Sheriff Jason Ard says the suspect, identified as Brennan Cole Griffin, should not be approached under any circumstances.
Authorities have issued several arrest warrants for Griffin, which include counts of armed robbery and aggravated assault, according to WBRZ. Sheriff Ard described Griffin as dangerous and warned the public to steer clear if he is spotted, instead urging anyone with information to contact authorities immediately.
Anyone with knowledge of Griffin's whereabouts is asked to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office at 225-686-2241. Tipsters can also reach Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP (344-7867), which may offer a possible cash reward for information leading to his capture.
Armed Robbery Investigation Already Led to Three Arrests
A related armed robbery investigation in Livingston Parish has already produced three arrests, as reported by Yahoo News. Deputies responded to Copperwood Drive in Denham Springs around 10:30 a.m. Friday, where, according to Sheriff Ard, a relative said a suspect held his wife at gunpoint before taking her car and phone.
The stolen vehicle was later located on North Harrell's Ferry Road in Baton Rouge, and no injuries were reported in the incident, the outlet noted. Investigators also believe a gun used in the armed robbery had been traded in exchange for fentanyl, pointing to a wider web of criminal activity tied to the case.
Charges Filed Against Griffin and Two Others
Brennan Griffin, 32, was charged with armed robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, domestic abuse aggravated assault and interfering with emergency communication, per the same account. Two other men were arrested alongside him in connection with the broader investigation.
Harley Marshall, 33, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was also identified as a fugitive from Denham Springs on a separate theft charge. Don Morrow, 40, faces charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and obstruction of justice.
Griffin, Marshall and Morrow were taken into custody at a second scene, and Marshall and Morrow were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, the report states. The investigation remains ongoing, and detectives have not released additional details about how the case against all three men connects.
