A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman is critically missing after she was last seen late Saturday night near Smith Park, and police are now asking the public for help tracking her down. Keyshawn Harmon was last spotted around 11 p.m. on N. 32nd Street, close to the park, before she disappeared.
According to WISN, Harmon is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and about 120 pounds. At the time she vanished, she was wearing a black shirt with white stripes on the sleeves, black leggings and black, furry boots, based on the police description relayed to the station.
What Police Are Asking the Public to Do
Milwaukee police have asked the public for help finding Harmon, according to the same report. No further details about the circumstances of her disappearance or a possible timeline beyond the initial sighting have been released.
Anyone with information on Harmon's whereabouts is asked to call Milwaukee police at 414-935-7242. Authorities have not indicated whether any leads have emerged since the case was first reported.
The department’s policy says Milwaukee police respond to and thoroughly investigate missing-person reports. Its public guidance says there is no 24-hour waiting period to report someone missing; for a critical case, it urges people to contact police as soon as possible and be ready to provide a recent photograph and the person’s last known direction of travel, if known. Milwaukee police guidance lists those steps for families and the public.
