More than 225 exhibitor booths are setting up at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe this weekend for the 22nd annual Washington State Evergreen Fall Home Show, running Friday through Sunday, October 23 through 25. Homeowners weighing a kitchen remodel, a new roof, or a fall landscaping overhaul can explore vendors and project ideas.

The show takes place inside the Gary D. Weikel Event Center, a 33,000-square-foot clear-span facility at the fairgrounds with room for up to 4,700 people, according to Snohomish County. Admission is cash-only: $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 62 and older, and free for children 16 and under, with free vehicle parking on-site. KOMO News reports that ARC Seattle co-anchor Steve McCarron spoke with show manager Bill Bradley and Becky Crisp ahead of the weekend, covering what attendees can expect, how to make the most of a visit, and what's on offer at the show's plant and nursery sale.

Remodeling and Landscaping Projects on Display

Exhibitors are showcasing home-improvement projects and services. Monroe-based West Coast Nursery is also on-site with a plant and nursery sale featuring wholesale pricing and seasonal specials geared toward fall planting and early spring landscape planning, according to the Evergreen Fall Home Show's own event listing.

Pug Costume Contest Adds a Saturday Attraction

Dog lovers have an extra reason to head to the fairgrounds Saturday. Pugoween and Frenchie Fright Fest is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day at the fairgrounds. The home show itself lists Pug-o-Ween, a dog costume competition held the same Saturday. Church of Pug is a nonprofit animal shelter specializing in pug rescue.

Now in its 22nd year at the Monroe fairgrounds, the show features more than 225 exhibitor booths focused on remodeling, landscaping, and addition projects. For Snohomish County residents weighing their next project, a nursery sale and dog costume contest add to the weekend's offerings.
