Monster trucks and dirt bikes are about to share the same arena floor in Columbus. Monster Jam Freestyle Mania is set to roll into the Schottenstein Center, pairing the franchise's familiar big-wheeled trucks with Freestyle Motocross riders for a new kind of team competition.

Monster Jam Freestyle Mania is scheduled for April 10 through April 12, 2026, at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.

The format itself is the real novelty here. Monster Jam trucks will team up with Freestyle Motocross bikes to perform in Columbus, with drivers competing in head-to-head battles and showcasing their skills, the station's report notes. According to the Schottenstein Center, the crossover event features Monster Jam trucks teaming up with Freestyle Motocross, or FMX, bikes rather than running as two separate shows.

One-Of-A-Kind Bikes Join Familiar Truck Names

Organizers built specialty FMX bikes just for this team competition, according to Monster Jam, pairing them with some of the franchise's most recognizable trucks. The event's own materials name Grave Digger, El Toro Loco and Sparkle Smash among the trucks expected to team up with the new bikes. Monster Jam Freestyle Mania is presented by Spin Master, the same source notes.

Monster Jam organizers said the event's thrills and stunts will keep audiences on the edge of their seats, per 10TV's reporting. Tickets for Monster Jam Freestyle Mania go on sale Tuesday, October 27, at 10 a.m., the station reports.

What To Know Before You Go

The Schottenstein Center says doors are scheduled to open one hour before each show. The venue has also gone fully cashless for parking, concessions and merchandise purchases, so fans should plan to bring a card or mobile payment method rather than cash.

Because the show runs loud, headphones may be useful. Children age 2 and older need their own ticket, while kids under 2 can attend for free as long as they sit on a parent's lap, according to the venue. The arena's bag policy also bars bags or purses of any size, with limited exceptions for wallets, clutches, wristlets, and guests who have medical, dietary or childcare needs.
