More than 40 Bravolebrities packed into the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on Saturday for Bravo Fan Fest 2026, a one-day event built around live panels, meet-and-greets and photo opportunities with cast members from some of the network's biggest shows. The lineup pulled talent from Below Deck, several Real Housewives franchises, Southern Charm, Southern Hospitality and Summer House, turning the Lowcountry into a gathering point for fans who otherwise only see these personalities through a screen.

The festival is scheduled as an exclusive one-day affair, according to Bravo, which confirmed the event brought in more than 40 Bravolebs from across the network. The day's offerings included live panels and programming, meet-and-greets with cast members, interactive photo ops, immersive experiences and exclusive merchandise, the network said. Ahead of the main event, Andy Cohen taped four special episodes of Watch What Happens Live in Charleston, with two tapings on each of the two days leading up to Fan Fest.

Peacock is set to stream every main-stage panel live, with additional on-demand behind-the-scenes coverage also planned, per Bravo's rundown of the weekend. Exactly when those four Charleston-taped Watch What Happens Live episodes will air remains unclear: Bravo's own viewing guide lists them streaming daily from Oct. 26 through Oct. 29, while a separate NBCUniversal release pegs the first airdate as Sunday, Oct. 25.

Southern Charm Stars Say the City Is the Real Draw

For cast members whose shows are filmed on location, hosting Fan Fest in Charleston carries extra weight. WCBD News 2 reports that Southern Charm star Molly O'Connell said having two Bravo shows based in the city made it a fitting host, allowing visitors to experience in person the setting they usually only watch on television. She said she expects visitors to be excited to step into the shows they love.

Southern Charm cast member Shep Rose echoed that sentiment to the station, saying he's happy the event landed in Charleston because it brings people to see the city. Rose also pointed to the show's longevity, saying Fan Fest highlights viewer enthusiasm, happiness and support built up across 12 seasons. Southern Charm is set to premiere its 12th season in a few weeks, and the show, along with its spinoffs, films in Charleston.

One cast member told the outlet that Andy Cohen was visiting a particular house featured on the show for the first time during the weekend's festivities, giving even longtime Bravo hosts a taste of the city's real-life backdrop. A Charleston resident named Anna Bates, who told WCBD News 2 she has watched Southern Charm since its beginning, was among the local fans drawn to the event.

From a Miami Concept to a Lowcountry Homecoming

Bravo Fan Fest did not start in Charleston. The concept began in 2024 in Miami during an off-year for BravoCon, according to Deadline. BravoCon itself is scheduled to make its full return in fall 2027, per NBCUniversal, after its most recent convention was held in Las Vegas, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

An attendee survey from an earlier Fan Fest found that 92% of respondents were satisfied with their experience and 87% said they were likely to attend a future edition, NBCUniversal reported. The Hollywood Reporter has described the format as a smaller, one-day alternative to the full convention, built around a full day of live panels, intimate photo opportunities, immersive experiences and activations.

Local Businesses Bracing for a Boost

Charleston's tourism, hospitality and small-business sectors are expected to see a benefit from the influx of fans, according to ABC News 4. Southern Charm's Craig Conover told the station that local businesses were excited to host Fan Fest and had been preparing for the expected wave of visitors.

The festival lineup also features new programming alongside returning crowd favorites. Bravo confirmed a brand-new panel titled Andy's Housewives History Lesson, joining returning fan favorites like #NoFilter and Battle of the Bravolebs. Names on the published roster included Austen Kroll, Ava Dash, Carl Radke, Gia Giudice, Mia Calabrese, O'Connell, Rodrigo Reyes and Rose, spanning several corners of the Bravo universe in a single building.

The North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center, which hosted the event, set some ground rules for attendees. Both Fan Fest and the Watch What Happens Live tapings are restricted to guests 18 and older, and anyone planning to drink alcohol on-site must show identification proving they are 21 or older. The venue also limited bags to clear plastic, vinyl or PVC styles no larger than 14 by 6 by 14 inches, one-gallon plastic freezer bags, or small clutch bags no bigger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
