A sidewalk confrontation involving manosphere streamer Myron Gaines and his younger brother, Ryad Fudl, has circulated on social media after a clip captured the clash during a Kick livestream in Austin. The two were confronted by two people on a sidewalk while Gaines streamed under the title “Exploring Austin!” on Kick.
The incident involved Gaines and his younger brother, Ryad Fudl, along with two people. It escalated into a physical altercation.
The original stream containing the fight is missing from the public video list on Gaines's Kick channel, while a follow-up broadcast does appear there.
No Statements, No Charges Yet
As of the article's publication, Gaines had not posted any statement about the incident beyond the title of his follow-up stream, and the two people involved in the confrontation have not spoken publicly or been identified. No arrest or charge has been reported in connection with the fight, no injury has been reported, and the Austin Police Department has not issued a statement.
Under Texas law, the outcome could hinge on details that remain unknown. Physical contact that does not cause injury but is deemed offensive or provocative constitutes a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $500, according to the Walker Law Office, while contact causing bodily injury escalates to a Class A misdemeanor carrying up to a year in jail. Separately, FindLaw notes that Texas law allows an automatic penalty enhancement to the next highest charge category when an offense is proven to be motivated by bias or prejudice against a protected group, under Penal Code Section 12.47 and Code of Criminal Procedure Article 42.014.
A Volatile Campus Visit Preceded the Fight
The street altercation followed just days after a highly volatile appearance at the University of Texas at Austin. Gaines spoke on campus on October 7 as part of his Toxic Masculinity Tour organized by Uncensored America, setting up a debate booth to publicly defend seven former Cornell University fraternity members named in a September sexual assault civil lawsuit, according to Indiatimes.
The appearance drew backlash.
From Federal Agent to Manosphere Figure
Gaines, whose real name is Amrou Fudl, graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in criminal justice and served as a special agent for Department of Homeland Security Investigations between 2010 and 2020, according to Legit.ng. Gaines is associated with the Fresh & Fit podcast, which has drawn controversy for its views about women and relationships.
Legit.ng reported that YouTube demonetized Fresh & Fit on August 18, 2023, following a controversial episode featuring Nick Fuentes. Gaines also streams on Kick.
Whether Austin police will pursue charges remains unclear.
Gaines was previously featured, alongside other prominent red-pill creators, in Netflix's March 2026 documentary Inside the Manosphere from filmmaker Louis Theroux, which examined the movement's digital reach.
