Kindred Social has opened at 7710 N. FM 620 in Northwest Austin, bringing a cocktail bar and dining option to the corridor. The restaurant’s menu includes a double-patty smash burger and shareable dishes, while its bar serves rotating draft cocktails.
The restaurant held its soft opening Wednesday, Community Impact reported. Its drinks include beer on tap and wine as well as the rotating cocktails.
A menu from snacks to sandwiches
The food menu ranges from shareable bites, including sourdough with Texas honey butter, pork belly cracklins and crispy wings, to more substantial options, according to the report.
For a full meal, diners can choose a chicken sandwich or double-patty smash burger. The menu also includes the ATX Melt, made with brie and gruyere, bacon, fig jam and caramelized onion on sourdough, the outlet reported.
Other documented openings along North FM 620
Community Impact reported that Vietnamese restaurant Alo 5 opened April 6 at 7710 N. FM 620, Ste. 710, a separate suite from Kindred Social’s Ste. 750 location. Alo 5 serves Vietnamese dishes including pho, vermicelli and rice dishes, according to Community Impact. The outlet also reported that Smashed N’ Sauced opened Nov. 7 at 12129 N. FM 620, Ste. 448, with smashburgers among its offerings. It is a separate restaurant at a different address from Kindred Social, according to Community Impact.
Brunch is planned
Kindred Social also plans to add brunch, though no launch date has been announced, according to the report.
