Omaha is getting a bigger dose of the healthcare staffing world next spring. TrackFive has announced that TalentTrack will return to the city for an expanded two-day conference running May 25-26, 2027, at the Omaha Marriott Downtown, with registration already open and early-bird general admission priced at $299 through October 31, 2026.
The 2027 edition is being built out with seven sessions and more than 30 speakers, according to prweb.com. Registration includes access to event sessions, networking opportunities, the TalentTrack Awards and meals, per TrackFive's event page, which also notes that attendees can book a hotel room at the Omaha Marriott Downtown for a special conference rate of $169 per night. The registration package covers breakfast, lunch and dinner on May 26, the same source notes.
From Virtual Launch to a Bigger Omaha Venue
TalentTrack didn't start as an in-person affair. The event launched virtually in 2025 before holding its first in-person conference in Omaha in 2026, a two-day gathering that took place June 2-3 at the Omaha Marriott Regency and featured sessions led by 22 expert speakers, according to the prweb.com announcement. For 2027, the conference is moving to a larger venue to accommodate what the company describes as continued growth, providing more room for education, networking and industry collaboration.
TrackFive CEO Oliver Feakins said there is a real appetite for this type of event, adding that TalentTrack will give its community more room to connect, learn and push the industry forward. Feakins also said TalentTrack will be the place where conversations shaping the future of travel healthcare staffing happen. The conference is designed to let attendees hear perspectives, ask questions, exchange ideas and hold candid discussions, with programming built around candid conversation, meaningful connection and the issues shaping the future of healthcare staffing.
Awards Expand to Eight Categories for Second Year
The TalentTrack Awards, which debuted in 2026 to honor excellence, innovation, leadership and impact in travel healthcare staffing, are returning for a second year with eight categories celebrating people shaping the industry — including two awards chosen by the clinicians who know the nominees best, per TrackFive's event page. The awards drew more than 2,000 nominations the previous year, the same source notes. Nominations for 2027 close March 1, with shortlists announced in mid-March and winners revealed live at the conference.
At the inaugural 2026 awards, Steve Vittorioso, senior director of marketing at Ceipal, said TalentTrack featured sharp speakers, relevant topics and seamless execution. Braxton Akins, director of provider experience at Tusk Enterprises, said the event enabled competitors to become collaborators and allowed leaders to share openly. TalentTrack 2027 is set to recognize people and organizations making an impact across the healthcare staffing industry, serving agency executives, recruiters, operations professionals, technology partners, service partners and other healthcare staffing leaders.
More Room for Networking and Sponsors
Beyond the sessions and awards, organizers are promising more time and space dedicated to networking, peer discussion and relationship-building in 2027, along with expanded opportunities for sponsors and industry partners to connect with attendees. TrackFive offers three sponsorship tiers designed to help vendors show up in the way that best fits their goals, according to the company's event page.
The growth push comes against a backdrop of projected demand for healthcare workers: overall employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations from 2025 to 2035, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. TrackFive describes itself as a talent marketplace provider with more than 15 years of experience connecting businesses with talent across industries including travel healthcare and transportation, and it operates sites including AlliedTravelCareers, LocumJobsOnline, TravelNurseSource, AllTruckJobs.com and Adelite.
