The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office said the shooting was reported at about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the Food Lion and Hardee's on Alabama Avenue in Chesnee, according to WYFF News 4. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office also responded to the scene early Tuesday, according to a separate report from WSPA, which said investigators were headed to South Alabama Street in the Chesnee community, where the situation occurred.
