A flower preservation business that began in a backyard shed outside founder Sarah Ebert's apartment has grown into a nationally recognized e-commerce brand now headquartered in Orem. Pressed Floral has preserved keepsakes for clients across the United States and beyond, according to a video from the City of Orem Government on Facebook.

From a Provo Shed to a Forbes List

Ebert founded Pressed Floral in 2019 at age 19, drying flowers between the pages of books in a backyard shed in Provo before expanding into commercial storefronts, according to Soiree Season. She was a university student working at a bridal shop when she began the business. Soiree Season also reports that Ebert received a Forbes 30 Under 30 nod for her success commercializing bespoke floral preservation.

The company's growth trajectory has been steep by almost any measure. Pressed Floral posted a three-year revenue growth rate of 2,628%, the company said in a blog post. It was recognized in 2024 as the fourth-fastest-growing company in Utah Valley. It was also named among Mountain Capital West's Emerging Elite that same year, per the same account.

Why the Business Landed on State Street in Orem

Pressed Floral's move to its current headquarters at 1799 N. State Street in Orem wasn't part of some grand expansion plan from the start — it came after a vehicle crashed into the company's previous Provo storefront, prompting the business to seek a larger operational space, the company has said.

That staff has grown considerably. Pressed Floral expanded from a single founder in 2019 to more than 50 team members across two locations by 2026, the same report states. The company now has over 50,000 families among its clients, according to the City of Orem's Facebook video, with work reaching customers across the U.S. and beyond.

A Second Home in Atlanta

Pressed Floral opened a second location in Atlanta in 2024 to better serve East Coast customers.

Celebrity Clients and a Natural Preservation Process

Pressed Floral's client list includes some recognizable names. The company has crafted custom bouquet preservations for Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, NFL quarterback Brock Purdy, and contestants from “The Bachelor” television franchise, according to Forbes.

What sets the process apart, according to Soiree Season, is that Pressed Floral avoids artificial dyes or paints that some competitors use, instead relying on an all-natural pressing technique that preserves genuine petal textures while allowing natural color changes to develop over time.

Tracking a Bouquet From Shed to Shipment

To manage the logistics of shipping preserved bouquets nationwide, Pressed Floral built its own mobile application for iPhone. The app lets clients monitor preservation progress, while the company offers unlimited design revisions before framing, according to Zola.

Pricing varies depending on the keepsake. The wedding bouquet preservation package costs $525, while the company also offers a locket for $165, according to Zola. Bridal packages include more than 2,500 design combinations and frame styles, the listing notes.
