Orlando is starting Monday with clear skies, temperatures in the low 70s and a welcome break from the recent run of wet weather. Sunshine will push the afternoon high to about 85 degrees, with a light northwest breeze and no rain expected.
Dry Stretch Holds Through Thursday
The National Weather Service in Melbourne calls for a sunny Columbus Day, followed by a clear Monday night with a low near 67. Tuesday and Wednesday should stay mostly sunny, with highs around 86 and only a small chance of a brief shower.
Thursday remains warm and mostly sunny, reaching about 87 degrees. Moisture will gradually return during the second half of the week, so the dry spell looks more like a pause than a permanent change of season.
Rain And Wind Return By The Weekend
Friday brings a 30% chance of rain showers after 2 p.m., while Saturday could see afternoon showers and thunderstorms with a high near 82. Saturday night is expected to turn breezier, with northeast winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph.
Sunday looks cooler, with a high near 78, scattered rain showers and northeast winds reaching 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph. That could make beach and boating plans rougher, especially with a moderate rip-current risk along Central Florida’s Atlantic beaches Monday; swimmers should stay near a lifeguard and never swim alone.
The sunny reset is a notable change from Hoodline’s earlier Orlando forecast, which tracked a much wetter stretch through the region. For now, Monday’s clear skies offer the easiest outdoor window before shower chances and stronger winds build late in the week.
